For the past twenty-five years, Brian L. Hatch has provided important leadership in governmental advocacy. In addition to his activities as owner and principle lobbyist to
the highly successful Capitol Connection legislative advocacy firm, he has been instrumental in the founding and ongoing management of several financial corporations. He has also been sought out by California's private and
public sector practitioners to speak on important trends in state government. Mr. Hatch's corporate ties include several financially-related companies: Light Revolution Investment Co., a mutual fund specializing in
speed-of-light technology investments; Progressive Asset Management, a regional stock brokerage firm; Working Assets, a holding company incorporating a money market mutual fund advisor, an affinity credit card marketer, and an
affinity long distance reseller. Mr. Hatch has also been instrumental in expanding Coastal Web Online, a small, local internet service provider, giving it a statewide presence throughout California as GOLDSTATE.NET.
For the University of California, Berkeley's Institute of Industrial Relations, Mr. Hatch has lectured on "Turmoil at PERS" and "Workers' Compensation, Disability Retirement, and Labor Relations". For the
University of California, Davis, Political Science Department, he spoke about the state's "Legislative Process and Lobbyist Functions." At Pepperdine University's Political Science Department, he addressed
"Political Science and Labor Relations". Mr. Hatch has also been a featured speaker for the League of California Cities, the County Supervisors' Association of California, and the John P. Redmond Foundation Symposium. Mr. Hatch's offices and affiliations include the Policy Advisory Committee to the California Commission on Health, Safety and Workers' Compensation, California Governance Consensus Project, Legislative Advisory
Committee on Medical-Legal Expenses, California Committee of the '80s, and Coastal Web Online. Mr. Hatch has been a founding member of the California Fire Fighters Joint Apprenticeship Committee, California Fire
Services Coordinating Council, California Highway Patrol Commissioner's Ad Hoc Committee on Emergency Incident Coordination, Industrial Relations Rehabilitation Advisory Committee, Cal-OSHA Standards Board Advisory Committee, and
